Shubuta, Mississippi —Michael A. Chiaradio, Democratic candidate for Mississippi’s 3rd Congressional District, joined residents in his hometown of Shubuta for this year’s Fall Festival on Halloween night. The event brought together families, local businesses, and community organizations for an evening of fun and fellowship.
Chiaradio, who is running a grassroots, people-powered campaign, supported the event as part of his broader effort to strengthen local communities and promote civic engagement throughout the district.
“Our campaign is built on the idea that politics should be about people,” Chiaradio said. “That means showing up, supporting local events, and finding ways to help our neighbors — not just during election season, but all year long.”
