Michael A. Chiaradio Speaks at Mississippi’s 3rd District Holiday Mixer in Louisville

Louisville, Mississippi — Michael A. Chiaradio continued building a growing movement Saturday at the Holiday Mixer hosted by the Winston County Democratic Executive Committee.

The event brought together community leaders and organizers to address one of the most urgent issues facing Mississippi: voter registration in the face of the aggressive and ongoing purge of voter rolls across the state.

Chiaradio emphasized a long-term approach, centered on rebuilding power through year-round organizing. The strategy aims to ultimately make Mississippi a real swing state by 2028.

The message resonated with attendees who share the belief that Mississippi deserves a Democratic Party that truly works for the people, not one that merely serves as a slightly different version of the Republican establishment.

Mississippi’s current political system is not accountable to ordinary citizens, and Chiaradio reinforced that the purpose of this movement is to build a government that finally is.
