Starkville, MS — Democratic candidate Michael A. Chiaradio, running for Congress in Mississippi’s Third District, delivered a bold and energetic speech at the Oktibbeha County Annual Democratic Party Banquet this past week.
Speaking to a packed room of Democratic leaders, activists, and community members, Chiaradio emphasized unity, strategic organization, and the urgent need for Mississippi Democrats to work together. “Mississippi is not a red state — it’s a low voter turnout state,” Chiaradio told the crowd. Chiaradio also challenged any potential Democratic primary opponents, stressing that the real fight is against incumbent Congressman Michael Guest. “If you know someone that’s thinking about primarying me, tell them to primary somebody else,” he said to loud applause.
