STARKVILLE, MS — Democratic nominee for Congress Michael A. Chiaradio returned to Starkville last Friday to join community members gathered outside the office of his opponent, Congressman Michael Guest, continuing his engagement with local residents and activists in Oktibbeha County.
The event marked Chiaradio’s third visit to the weekly gathering, where he met with supporters and discussed his campaign’s priorities, including lowering healthcare costs, investing in infrastructure, strengthening public schools, and expanding opportunities for small businesses, local food systems, and working families.
Chiaradio said he continues to be encouraged by the dedication and consistency of those who regularly participate, noting that meaningful change is built by people who remain engaged over time and continue showing up for their communities.
He also expressed gratitude for the support his campaign has received from many of those in attendance. Chiaradio said returning to Starkville has allowed him to build lasting relationships with community members and that he is committed to earning their trust through hard work, both on the campaign trail and once elected in Congress.
