Jackson, MS — Democratic nominee for Congress Michael A. Chiaradio joined Democratic candidates, party leaders, and supporters Friday evening at Johnny T’s Bistro & Blues in Jackson for the Mississippi Democratic Party’s Fundraiser on Farish.
The event featured Jane Kleeb, President of the Association of State Democratic Committees, and Precious McKesson, along with Democratic candidates and leaders from across Mississippi.
Chiaradio expressed his appreciation for Kleeb and McKesson’s commitment to helping strengthen the Democratic Party from the ground up and emphasized the importance of building lasting organizations capable of competing across Mississippi.
Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Scott Colom and First Congressional District candidate Cliff Johnson each delivered speeches during the evening. Chiaradio told attendees during his speech that he was proud to share the Democratic ticket with Colom and Johnson and described both as leaders who are fit for the moment facing Mississippi.
Chiaradio also emphasized his belief that Mississippi Democrats are at an inflection point with an opportunity to build a stronger party, compete across the state, and bring meaningful change to Mississippi.
