MERIDIAN, MS — Democratic congressional nominee Michael A. Chiaradio participated in the Lauderdale County Democratic Party’s Candidate Informational Forum on Thursday, October 29 in Meridian.
The event brought together candidates and community members for an evening of discussion about the upcoming November 3rd general election.
Chiaradio addressed attendees about his congressional platform, including his proposals to improve healthcare, modernize infrastructure, strengthen public education, and expand small business opportunities throughout Mississippi’s Third District.
Following his remarks, Chiaradio received an enthusiastic response from Democratic attendees, several of whom expressed their intention to help encourage voter participation.
Republicans in attendance also approached Chiaradio afterward to express appreciation for his practical approach to government.
Throughout his campaign, Chiaradio has emphasized that elected officials should represent the interests of their constituents rather than become consumed by partisan conflict.
He also reiterated his commitment to remaining accessible if elected, including holding regular public forums where constituents could ask questions and communicate with their representative directly.
He expressed his gratitude to the Lauderdale County Democratic Party for organizing the forum and providing candidates an opportunity to engage directly with the community.
With Election Day approaching, Chiaradio encouraged residents to make a plan to vote on November 3rd and to help their friends, neighbors, and families participate in the election.
