Meridian, MS — Democratic nominee for Congress Michael A. Chiaradio attended the East Mississippi Day of Action: The People’s Hearing last week, joining community members and partner organizations for a discussion focused on voting rights, civic engagement, and increasing voter participation ahead of the November election.
The event brought together residents from across Mississippi who are committed to strengthening civic participation and encouraging voter engagement throughout their communities. Chiaradio met with attendees and discussed the importance of grassroots organizing as the campaign continues to build throughout Mississippi’s Third Congressional District.
The meeting reflects the growing enthusiasm surrounding the 2026 election and the continued efforts of local organizations and volunteers to ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to make their voice heard.
