Chiaradio Lays Out Vision for a Multi-Year Democratic Movement at Oktibbeha County Holiday Gathering

Starkville, Mississippi — Democratic congressional candidate Michael A. Chiaradio addressed supporters Monday night at the Oktibbeha County Democrats Holiday Gathering, outlining a long-term vision for advancing a people-first economic agenda nationwide.

Speaking to Democrats from across Oktibbeha County, Chiaradio emphasized that the goal is not simply to elect a Democrat in 2028 and declare marginal progress. Instead, he argued, the party must become responsive to the will and material needs of the people, offering real solutions to rising costs, economic stagnation, and declining opportunity.

Chiaradio highlighted the need for targeted federal investment to rebuild the industrial economy around manufacturing, agriculture, and healthcare. His policies will drive greater economic growth that translates into higher wages, stronger communities, and rising living standards, particularly in the Midwest and the Deep South.

The event, jointly hosted by the Oktibbeha County Democrats and the Oktibbeha Federation of Democratic Women, brought together longtime activists and community leaders from Starkville and surrounding areas. Attendees expressed strong enthusiasm for Chiaradio’s campaign and his emphasis on long-term party building and economic renewal.
