Michael A. Chiaradio Speaks at No Kings Protest in Starkville and Neshoba County Democratic Party Banquet

Michael A. Chiaradio, Democratic candidate for Mississippi’s 3rd Congressional District, delivered two powerful speeches this past weekend in Starkville and Philadelphia, energizing Democrats across the district and reinforcing his campaign’s message that Mississippi is not a red state — it’s a low-turnout state that’s there for the taking.

On Saturday afternoon, Chiaradio addressed attendees at the No Kings Rally in Starkville, where he spoke about the need to restore accountability in Washington and stand up to the anti-democratic impulses that threaten our balance of power.

“Once upon a time, here in America, We the People said, there will be no king over us,” Chiaradio declared to cheers from the crowd.

Following the rally, Chiaradio traveled to Philadelphia, Mississippi, where he was honored to speak at the Neshoba County Democratic Party’s Annual Banquet. The event featured remarks from Mississippi Democratic Party Chairman Cheikh Taylor and Executive Director Mikel Bolden, along with numerous local leaders and community organizers.

Chiaradio described the evening as “special and emotional,” noting the shared sense of urgency and hope among attendees.

“The people of Neshoba County are ready for change,” Chiaradio said. “They want a Mississippi that works for everyone — one that lives up to its potential and helps make the United States the best nation it can be.”

Chiaradio continues to gain attention statewide for his pragmatic, people-powered approach and for leading with a message of optimism and empowerment. His campaign is built on grassroots support, with over 90% of contributions coming from small-dollar donors.
