QUITMAN, MS — Democratic nominee for Congress Michael A. Chiaradio joined local Democrats and community members last week at the Clarke County Democratic Party Fish Fry Fundraiser in Quitman.
The event brought together people from across Clarke County for a day of fellowship and conversation. Chiaradio spent the day meeting with attendees and discussing the issues facing communities throughout Mississippi’s Third Congressional District.
The strong turnout reflected growing enthusiasm among local Democrats as the November election approaches. Volunteers worked throughout the day to make the event a success and create an opportunity for neighbors to come together and engage in the political process.
As a resident of Clarke County, Chiaradio said it was especially encouraging to see so many people participate and support the local party’s efforts. He noted that strong community involvement and voter engagement will be essential to success in 2026.
The fundraiser also provided an opportunity to discuss the campaign’s priorities, including lowering healthcare costs, investing in infrastructure, strengthening public schools, and supporting local economic development throughout the district.
As the campaign continues to build momentum across Mississippi’s Third Congressional District, Chiaradio remains focused on expanding grassroots engagement and encouraging more people to become involved in the democratic process.
