LOUISVILLE, Miss. — Democratic nominee for Congress Michael A. Chiaradio visited Louisville last Monday to attend the Winston County Board of Supervisors meeting after being invited by Winston County Chancery Clerk Rusty Foster.
Chiaradio was placed on the agenda and had the opportunity to speak with county leaders about several of the issues that have become central to his campaign, including lowering healthcare costs, investing in infrastructure, strengthening public schools, and building local food systems centered on small businesses and small farms.
During the meeting, Chiaradio discussed how investments in those areas can help create economic opportunity, strengthen local communities, and expand the resources available to cities and counties across Mississippi’s Third Congressional District.
He also emphasized the importance of local government and expressed his desire to maintain strong working relationships with county and municipal officials throughout the district.
Chiaradio noted that local leaders are often the public servants closest to the challenges facing their communities. He pledged to remain accessible to local officials and to support their efforts whenever possible.
The visit is part of Chiaradio’s ongoing effort to meet with community leaders and residents across all twenty-three counties of Mississippi’s Third Congressional District as the campaign continues to build momentum heading into the 2026 general election.
